Testing Methodologies

The 21st Century has come with some much excitement especially in the area of Software Development, as much excitement it brought comes with it so many pitfalls, but i think one of my big credit goes to the likes of  Martin Fowler and Sutherland  widely recognized as one of the key founders of agile methods, as much as we'll look at a disadvantage of Agile i see more benefits it has brought over other methodologies like Waterfall and V-model, even though the V-model is almost close to Agile itself as it focuses more on TQM Total quality management). Agile in my opinion is the opposite of Waterfall in the sense that Agile is more beneficial in flexible projects and it is adaptable to suit an organizational needs, while Waterfall is mostly beneficial in projects that are not flexible like Oil & Gas and NHS Trust. So regardless of how most people have criticized all three methods of software development they all have their benefits and pitfalls. The most important lessons that should be taken from this is what kind of projects are organizations involved in and what works best for you at that point in time, it doesn't necessarily means that if Waterfall works for Project ABC it would work for Project XYZ same applies to Agile and V-model.  To be continued.
